Chapter 19

Chapter 19 – Kosmos

Kosmos is a beautiful Greek word that means the universe.  (You’ve probably heard of the Cosmos in English) The verb of that, is Kosmeo in the Greek, which has some beautiful meanings.  It means to be adorned, garnished, decorated as in the perfect arrangement and ornament of the heavens and this earth.  It is the perfection of His creation.

Since we live in a fallen world, our world is not in perfect order.  I’m sure that is stating the obvious to you.  As talked about earlier, it is the upside-down of perfect in its current state.  Not only fallen, but the opposite of what it should be.

As always, Satan tries to imitate God.  So, he “adorns” things too.  To dress them up and make them look holy when they are not.

Luke 21:5-6 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,  As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

They even adorn/garnish the tombs of the prophets that they themselves killed!

Matthew 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

That beautiful word Kosmeo can also mean to put back in order, in perfect order.  This will happen when Christ comes back.  He will place everything back into the harmonious order that He created it.  All of His creation, the universe and all in it made perfect again.  His Kosmos.

Revelation 21:1-4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

This world will be adorned, made perfect, for its Husband.  It says that all creation groans for His return, not only people.

I was watching some program and they had a woman on there that had died.  She talked about how everything worships God there in Heaven.  The trees, the grass, people, animals… all swaying together in the same worship of the Spirit.  Can you imagine?

Not much later, I went on a dive in Florida.  While I was underwater, everything was swaying together in the current.  The plants, the fish, even me…  It made me think, this is like heaven.

How beautiful.  Every living thing singing the same song to our Creator.

There is research ongoing that states that our DNA sings.  Each DNA nucleotide has a specific frequency spectrum.  If those are translated into frequencies that a human ear can hear, it begins to sound like notes, and you can hear music.  I don’t think this is an accident at all.  It is how our spirit will continue to worship in Heaven.

Now that we have gone over adorning the fake way and adorning this world back into perfection, let’s talk about how the bride is adorned at the end.  How you and me will be made perfect and whole to be presented to Him.

Matthew 25:1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

As we have already discussed, Jesus is the olive tree and the Anointed One and He is the Word of God.  That oil in their lamps is the Word of God and Jesus himself.  If He is not in you, you are out.  Those others were told to go and buy some oil and of course will never find the kind of oil required to join that wedding for sale.  I’m sure they went to false preachers for that oil and there is none there because you can’t buy it.  You can only accept it into your soul.

That oil has already been paid for by Jesus on the cross.

Those five had adorned themselves for the wedding.  They had plenty of oil which means they knew the word of God and had Jesus in them.  But, what else did they do?

They trimmed their wicks so their light would be brighter.  They got rid of the black stuff at the top.  The dross, the sin that was stuck to them from this world dimming their light before they went out and met their Husband.  They repented.

Jesus washed the feet of the disciples right before He was betrayed.  He symbolically was washing the sin off of them from walking on this Earth but also offering forgiveness and preparing them to stand in Heaven.  So, their feet could touch holy ground.  AND, telling us to do the same for each other, to forgive and prepare each other for The Way.

John 13:12-15 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

These are the things that you need to attend the wedding.  Jesus, study and repentance.

Revelation 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Well, it has taken me this whole book to realize what those ants/people in the shadows are.

Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

God is telling us to wake up and get to work.  How long will you sleep, how long will you stay in darkness?  Gather your food for the winter coming.  Stock up your oil of the Word of God and the love and joy of Jesus.  Then you will not wake up empty when He comes.  You will be stitched into the Coat of many Colors and secure in those fibers of Beauty.  You will just sway secured with your brothers and sisters in that storm.

Or, you can find yourself clawing over others to try and make it into that white thrown room only to have the door shut and then be cast down in the underbelly of this world.  This is real.  I’ve seen it.

I hope I’ve convinced you that I’m not (completely) crazy and that God is pleading with you to take action.  It is easy action too.  Love and read about Me.

Time is short.  Repent of your sins today.  You’ve carried that shame long enough and you need to drop that pack and let Jesus pick it up for you.  His yoke is light.  Pick up your bible and start reading.

I recommend starting with Matthew and then going back to the prophets that prophesied of Christ coming, maybe Isaiah.  Keep going back and forth like that.  That will increase your faith.  That is how I like to do it anyway, but there is no wrong way.  Always pray for wisdom and understanding and He will give it to you.  I’m living proof of that.

Most of all teshuvah.  Turn your whole heart and life to Him.  Tell Him you love Him and Thank Him for all of your blessings.

Don’t ever forget the will of God for you.  It’s really not very hard.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

You ALL are in my prayers.

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

John 14:13-21 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:27-29  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
